It is rather a total ignorance of the facts as they apply to the mindset of those urging Israel to give in to her detractors. The Arab refusal to acknowledge Israel's right to exist as a nation, while at the same time posing as a true partner in seeking the emergence of a peaceful Palestinian state, is, perhaps, the greatest, longest running, and most widely accepted hoax ever perpetrated on a gullible world. The refusal to see this incongruity is remarkable. Anti-Israeli sentiment has in fact become the new anti-Semitism. It makes Israel the new "collective Jew", and then assaults the individual Jew as an extension of the state. |
